Important innovations are coming soon in the computerisation of export operations and Union transit, in order to fully actualize the customs legislation.
It was recently announced by the Organization and Digital Transformation of Customs trough a circular in which are written information about the procedural changes that will involve the AIDA platform. The aim is to complete the computerisation of the activities.
Andreetto & Zanon is working, once again, to guarantee to the companies a complete use of the opportunities that come by the customs innovations.
The export service
The procedure provides for the exporter:
- new features allowing, in addition to the presentation of the export declaration, its correction and/or cancellation;
- the possibility of sending declaration by computer even before the goods are presented at the office of export;
- more than 40 items to declare (with the start of the new functional phases it will be possible to send declarations with 9999 articles per declaration);
- centralized clearance.
This last function allows the user to contact his personal customs consultant directly to send the export declaration, while goods may be at different offices within the European Community. Now not all the technical implementing provisions are available, but the roadmap foresees that between 18 January 2023 and 28 February 2023, the systems will be operational in the real environment. From 1 March 2023, the new system will replace the previous one.
Moreover, the new planned applications don’t allow the groupage and the sending of export declarations with transit. Regarding the import, the reengineering in the customs system isn’t as fast. We are waiting the summary sheet for tax purposes on the custom site. At the moment, is available only the download of the summary sheet that companies can use in the meantime to register the customs declaration.
Andreetto & Zanon is available, as always, to provide the necessary support and the information to independently access the documents and the prospectus release.
